Very hard to navigate through the ebook. Missing content that appears in the paperback such as the hotel section in the streets art section. Pictures stored elsewhere with links to view, very clunky to follow. Not impressed. The paperback are so good, there is no way I can use the ebook in its current format

Excellent travel guide book. The folding map was very useful. Lots of helpful tips and information to help you travel around. Very pleased with my purchase.

I love the DK brand. I've got loads of their excellent travel guides, and a number of other books too. The photos are high quality, and the text is very good. One big, annoying thing that needs to be sorted, is the pathetically TINY text on the pull-out metro guide (Madrid). It is UNREADABLE without a magnifying glass, and my eyesight's fine.

A very helpful little guidebook, whether you're in Madrid for just a few days or a couple of weeks. It covers all of the major sites in good detail, whilst leaving some of the mystery for when you arrive at each site. It does miss out some of the more minor, off-the-beaten-track tourist attractions, but you probably wouldn't find those in any guidebook. It covers a good range of attractions, from the tourist hotspots like the Palacio Real and all of the art museums, but also includes good finds like the Templo de Debod and churros at San Gines. It includes a pocket-size pull-out map of the centre of Madrid, but also has more in-depth maps of each of the major areas of the city and the surrounding area, with recommendations of where to stay/go/eat and what to do in each of those districts, so that you can plan for wherever you're staying as well. There is also a small phrasebook section in the back which was a lifesaver for me as I found that many people didn't speak English. I found this little book really useful throughout my stay, and it made getting around very easy too as it also has a map of the metro.I would recommend this helpful little book to anyone visiting Madrid for a short holiday.

I've been a consistent fan of the 'Top 10' Eyewitness books for a while and have amassed a decent collection. This latest edition certainly doesn't disappoint and is jam packed with all of the usual tit-bits of advice and the convenient pull-out maps. They are definitely in a league of one when it comes to city travel guide formats.

This guide has a handy little map and is easy to fit in your bag. A great purchase to ensure you aren't missing out on any must-see sights! The entries for food/bars aren't great though... that requires a bit of extra research.
