I brought this AA guide to use on my recent holiday to Crete. I stayed in Stalis which is a very popular tourist area near Malia but it does not exist according to this guide. Even Malia itself only gets a brief mention which I find astounding.I read the section on Aygious Nikolaous before visiting the town but had to resort to using the local Tourist Information office for up to date advice as it would seem the town wasn't on the list for recent updates to the book. The general information about shopping, public transport etc were helpful but apart from that I'm sorry to say the book was a waste of money.
